Initially engaged by the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2006, Jim Irwin managed the development of a new baseball venue for the Single A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The 16 acres mixed-use development included an 8,000 seat minor-league ballpark, a 1.5 acre public park, a 5-story structure including office, retail and residential, 11,000sf year-round conference space and a 330 space parking structure wrapped with brick to appear like a warehouse.
